A brief history

Heat exchanger operations were first started at our Golbey site in 1959, using Trane technology.

In 1986, Trane sold its two plants:

- its American plant, which was initially named ALTEC, was then taken over by the Chart group;

- the French plant was acquired by Nordon, a subsidiary of the Fives-Lille Group and was then renamed Nordon Cryogénie.

In 1998, Nordon Cryogénie acquired the Cryomec, a Swiss company, and its subsidiary, Cryopôle, specialized in cryogenic pumps.
